2026년 10월 9일, 사단법인 수중환경과학협의회는 ‘2026년 하반기 이사회’를 개최하였습니다.

이번 이사회에서는 과학잠수 교육 행사가 진행되는 양평 도토리골 호수에서 이사진이 참석한 가운데 진행 되었으며, 올 한 해 추진해 온 주요 사업 성과를 돌아보고, 수중 생태계 보전과 우리 협회가 나아가야 할 발전 방향을 깊이 있게 논의하였습니다.

주요 안건으로는 ▲2026년 주요 사업 추진 실적 보고 ▲수중환경 조사 및 후원 활동 활성화 방안 ▲국내 협력 네트워크 강화 ▲2027년도 사업 계획 및 예산안 사전 검토 등이 다루어졌으며, 제안된 안건들은 이사진의 적극적인 참여 속에 원안대로 의결·협의되었습니다.

우리 협의회는 이번 이사회에서 모인 귀중한 의견을 바탕으로, 수중환경 보전 활동을 더욱 체계화하고 과학잠수사들의 역할을 지속해서 강화해 나갈 예정입니다.

On October 9, 2026, the Underwater Environmental Science Council held its board meeting for the second half of 2026.

The meeting took place at Dotorigol Lake in Yangpyeong—a site currently hosting a scientific diving training program—with members of the board in attendance. The board reviewed the key achievements of the year and engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the conservation of underwater ecosystems and the future strategic direction of the Council.

Key agenda items included a report on the progress of major projects for 2026, strategies to revitalize underwater environmental research and sponsorship initiatives, the strengthening of domestic collaborative networks, and a preliminary review of the 2027 business plan and budget. All proposed items were approved and discussed as presented, with active participation from the board members.

Building on the valuable insights gathered during this meeting, the Council intends to further systematize its underwater environmental conservation efforts and continue to enhance the role of scientific divers.
